Our Shared Vision for Featherbed Lane Elementary

     The faculty of Featherbed Lane Elementary School is comprised of competent, highly qualified individuals who share a vested interest in the success of all children. The school created by this talented group is one in which our students are welcomed into the learning environment.  Children are encouraged to question, share ideas, and connect their life experiences to the classroom learning.  Our instruction is designed to expose the students to cultures and talents that enrich our lives.  The skill level and ability of our students is continuously enhanced through opportunities to learn in unique ways.  We serve not only the individual pupils in our classrooms, but the community at large. Our service to our Featherbed community is achieved through the training of our children to be productive citizens who actively take responsibility for their decisions, level of involvement, and commitment to one another. All administrators, teachers, students, and parents seek to collaborate to create a challenging, safe, and healthy learning environment at Featherbed Lane Elementary School. This is our school, and we each take pride in playing a role in making it the best that it could be.
